Archbishop Blanch News
Once again the school went to Ravascletto in Italy for a skiing holiday. Every year, 2 groups spend a week there on the slopes. Unfortunately this year the weather was not too good - we had fog which proved quite challenging but thankfully no one got lost ! We also had a considerable amount of snow falling on the last two days but it all adds up to a great holiday which was enjoyed by all. The lucky staff will be returning during the Easter holidays with another group of girls, this time they are all beginners !
Other sporting achievements during the term include Year 8 successes - they have won the Liverpool hockey league and the netball league also the hockey tournament. We look forward to more success next year.
The school continues to run activity clubs during the holidays for children 7 - 11 years old. Approximately 40 children attend each session and we try to give them the opportunity to try out new sports. In the next one at Easter, we will be providing zumba, capoleira, cheerleading, trampolining, vigorboards, bouldering and multi sports.
