Quicksticks

Primary schools in the South Central and South partnerships took part in the first ever Quicksticks competition at St Julies High School. With the help of young leaders from both St Julies and St Hilda’s who scored and umpired the afternoon the event ran smoothly, after a few initial glitches! A total of 18 teams took part in the competition with King David’s A and B teams coming both 1st and 2nd. There were a few grazed knees as pupils grappled to gain an advantage and took a tumble, but they were soon up and about again and chasing for the win. The day turned out to be an enjoyable affair for everyone involved despite the weather being cold and overcast.
