Sir Steve Redgrave launched the 1st South Central SSP Duathlon in 2007 and every year the secondary schools gather on St Margaret's school field to compete in the cycling and running race. Sports Leaders from SMA help organise and run the event and individual medals are awarded to the winners of each year group
