Thanks to equipment and coaching from ‘Change for Life’, Blue Coat’s successful Table Tennis club is gaining popularity by the day.
Pupils from years 7-13 have been able to play and train every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime, receiving coaching from Cherith Graham. Cherith is now a level 2 Table Tennis coach having been a very successful and strong table tennis player herself.
The school’s Young Leaders have also been volunteering to help run the club where their volunteering hours can be logged as part of the Youth Sport Trust Step into Sport initiative.
Some of the club's members from Key Stage 3 and 4 have also been able to represent the school in the LSSP Table Tennis League where both teams are battling for the top spot.
