Leadership At Aigburth High School.

We are now in our fifth year of running the Junior Sports Leader Level One Programme. This course has had an outstanding success on pupils behaviour, attendance and has also has improved their overall self confidence and has helped raise their self esteem. Some pupils on the course who have since left school have gone on to college and some have completed their CSLA award.. James Johnson who left school in July last year, stated:
" Before I engaged on this course my attendance and behaviour in school was really unacceptable at times.However, the JSLA course helped me gain a new found confidence in developing my communication and social skills, I really enjoyed coming to school. My attendance and behaviour improved dramatically. I have since gone on to complete my CSLA course and I come back into school each Friday to assist the Head of PE, Mr Turley in running this years JSLA Award."
